The quantity of garbage produced each day and even each second in the world is ‎mind blowing and yet no one wants anything to do with it. People are disgusted by the ‎mere mention of garbage. They try to ignore garbage in hopes that if they stop thinking ‎about it, it will simply disappear. Unfortunately, this is not the case. Unless drastic ‎measures are taken not only by individuals but also by nations, we will soon be living in ‎garbage. This project is a more or less a sculpture of a man made completely of recycled ‎material including batteries, cans, potato chip bags, and expired pasta among other things. ‎My aim was to draw people’s attention to this issue. By ignoring the problem we only ‎exacerbate the situation. However, small steps like recycling can have a big impact when ‎more and more people start to implement them. ‎
