Teaching material

The material has been prepared in such a way one can download a collected course with accompanying teacher guidance, but one can also put together a course which best suits the children who will be working with the project.

We have taken into account the fact that the subject approaches of the material can be taught by means of several different teaching and perception forms, so that pupils are confronted with facts, practical activities, experiences, imagination and creativity in a way in which the intellect as well as emotions are brought into play. All the teaching material can be downloaded here digitally.

The project is also well suited to both single subject as well as cross-curricular teaching.

Have fun!

Fact sheets

Here you will find the factual texts, drawings and photos. There are factsheets about materials, things and goods as well as environmental issues and climate changes.
The factsheets describe the particular elements such that children can read them without help.

Short stories

Here you will find a series of short stories about children who live under different living conditions in other countries. Each story represents a geographic, economic, climatic or political reality. The fictional stories describe a segment of the daily life of a child in the relevant country and have special focus on specific living conditions, consumption patterns and resources. The stories are written so that children can read them.

Enrol your class

Here you can enrol your class in the project. This will give your class the opportunity to share photos of your junk sculptures and thoughts about the project with children throughout the world.
You can enrol your class whenever you want to during the course. Enrolment is not a prerequisite for using the materials.
